This is like a prologue of what would happen in Drowned in Unknown (the original). Basically, it tells the pasts of some of the characters in the story.
*IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THEIR PASTS, THAT'S ABSOLUTELY FINE! This is just like an extras thing, I just added this to give more details on what the characters think. BUT it won't spoil anything or leave a gateway to all the secrets, don't worry.
(Each character's past would be 2-3 chapters long!)

-John has already been traumatized. He's been convinced to hate himself by Keon and been traumatized by his own ability. But what happens if we add a bit more trauma into the mix? Follow John as he deals with not only his original trauma, but also an added layer of trauma from everyone's favorite (surprise: probably most people's least favorite) Orrin. Will remembers his name, everything else outside of that? Well, he draws a blank. So, the last thing he wants to do is run headfirst into a dangerous maze. Of course, keeping his head down and hiding in the infirmary with his newfound abilities only works for so long, after all the Fates have other plans for him.
