Forget what you know about the fairytales of werewolves. There's no such thing as a moon goddess, there's no such thing as mates. Wolves are animals cruel, mean, and ferocious. The law can't touch them. The world leaves them alone. They govern their own. That's what I was thought and so far all has been true. What I didn't know was that my little town had a tradition. The harvest was established to create peace between species, every year a girl is offered to the Alpha. I've gone, and luckily never been selected. My future is bright and my thirst for knowledge wins without doubt. Only, I was gifted to the Alpha, a piece offering given to leave the town alone. Presented to him a slave, gifted to an animal. My mother cried, my sister chastised, while I lied. My future is gone but my family is safe. That's all that matters for today, but tomorrow is another story. So tell me.....What happens when the big bad Alpha grows attached?
