Twenty year old Lucy Martin has been proving herself to the MLB world. Being the younger sister of Russell Martin, she has a love for the sport of baseball. Lucy is a team player, she manages the Toronto Blue Jays with John Gibbons, better known to the players as Gibby, she's always the first one on the field ready for another batting practice or ready with the pitchers, giving them advice to better their pitches. And how could the day go smoothly without a friendly tease from big brother Russell? But through the heat of the season, Lucy finds herself attracted to the funny, charismatic Ryan Goins. Will feelings in the dugout get heated? Can Lucy carry on a normal conversation with Ryan without getting all cheeky and not her normal self?

Sarah thinks about leaving New York and moving to LA because of Cody but does she know what she is leaving behind in the biggest city in the world? She learns that a man in the Navy named Josh knew her way before Cody did but does she want to stick to the memories with him or go back to her childhood Little League fan moment with Cody? Along with Sarah and her drama her now new best friend Anna has a man in the Marines named Grant who she knows is the right one for her. Or is he? Will Sarah and Anna cope with the fact that baseball will always be their dream or will they have to face the fact that the men who fight for this country are more important? This book is a dedication to not only MLB but to the women and men serving for our country today, yesterday, and in the future! We will always love you! :) Find out in the final book that is Keeping Promises! Readers I would like you to pay attention to the new characters I'm going to add in this book! Enjoy! ;)
