She was and had been the laughing stock of the school since she could remember her best friend's betrayal. He had always protected her but since then she had become forever alone with no one but herself.

In a sick sort of way, she loved it-reminiscing about Leo, literally drowning in the memories of him. And it isn't long till Riley does drown herself among those gray memories, shutting and shunning the world forever, in a place too far to reach. She is already so gone, that every one of her friends and family are very close to giving up, and on each tick of the clock Riley is close to letting go. Will a curious stranger's words save her, or will Riley try to save herself? *If you read the summary, and decided that it is some sort of typical clichè , I'd like to tell you that this is NOT a cliche 'damsel-in-distress-saved-by-a-knight-in-shining-armour' story at all. You won't find anything such as that, as the tags suggests too. One thing about Jessica is that, she hates guys because she was 'only' cheated and used by four guys already. They used her money and these four guys, she'll see them again at school and that bothers her so much. She don't feel love or hurt from guys anymore. Her heart is numb. It feels nothing. For guys. I don't like the way he told me he needed to care for me. I felt like an obligation, a responsibility that he is carrying and carrying leads to getting tired and when people gets tired, they give up. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I don't own any of the characters, nor most of the pictures, btw the pictures will most likely have nothing to do with the chapter i just like them. this story is not true, if a name appears of somebody dead or alive that is by coincidence. Also I apologize of how horribly written this is. 15 year old girl Jackie has been bullied since the 4th grade by Jason and his group of friends, in middle school the bullying got more and more physical, at one point she ended up in the hospital. Afterwards, causing her to become suicidal and depressed along with many other mental illnesses. But as she enters the 9th grade, her and Jason flip the scenery.
