When Annaly looses someone important to her in a fire she makes a deal with a demon named Mikoto. It is now Mikoto's job to serve and protect Annaly. But he comes with a price, Annaly now only has 10 years left to live and must protect the necklace Mikoto sewed onto her neck. Together, Annaly and Mikoto gather clues and hints in order to find the person Annaly has lost. But she also has to be able to balance in all her school work as well.

After seeing the truth, the group continues their journey to find Naraku and Chiyo crosses paths with the long foreseen true love that Reiki predicted that she'd meet one day, southern wolf demon tribe leader, Koga.
