To summon the Golden Cross, four ancient golden artifacts were to be collected. It was said to grant wishes, but because of the white magic in its essence, most witches and warlocks could not summon it, unless they had a genuinely pure heart. The Bishop's bloodline was no exception, for their bloodline was the cause of much of the mishap in the mid 1600s. The Bishops soon found out that in order to summon the golden cross, the power of five pure witches were needed. The problem was no witch or warlock in the Bishop bloodline was pure. 320 years later, the purest descendants of the Bishop bloodline and three different bloodlines have finally been found.
