Peace in the Elven island of Druna threatens to spill and crack when, in the dead of night, the Royal Palace of Olivaria is attacked by a foreign force. Despite Prince Alexis's best effort to prevent a crisis, and with the growing rumors spreading after that fateful night, the truth behind the attack must be revealed.

Enter Priam Lockwood; stubborn, rebellious and non-compliant. His enviable knack for landing himself in the most dangerous of situations grants him the title of Druna's Chosen hero.
Whether it's because of his hair -- white as light -- or that fate simply has a vendetta against him, he has a hard time figuring out. But at the age of sixteen he is handed a task for which he is definitely not fit.

A most unorthodox team, with Priam Lockwood as its leader -- so to speak, anyway -- is left to handle the situation. And as the quest unravels, the deeper they delve into the human world and its tangled messes, it becomes evident a kidnapped Princess is the least of their concerns.
For it doesn't take long for the real reason behind the kidnapping to reveal itself, turning out to be a grander scheme than what any of them signed up for.
