Elementals have been around since the beginning of the world. They are able to control the various elements of the world and most manage to live peacefully with the mundane people. But where there are supernatural beings, there are those who want to hunt them.
Morgana Craften is one of these elementals. Two weeks before her sixteenth birthday, she meets a strange boy in the woods and discovers that most of what she was told as a child was a lie. She knows this for certain, though: no matter what anyone else says, she can trust the Ravencrofts and the strange boy from the woods.
However, it's hard to learn how to control abilities when you're thrown into a centuries old fight between elementals and hunters. With the help of her friend and the Ravencrofts, she'll learn how to control her powers and start the end to the long fight.
