Braxton Miller wakes up one morning and suddenly sees numbers that count down, above people's heads and figures out what they mean. He realizes that he's dead and is sent on a quest. A quest to retrieve a life ball, a a softball-sized bright blue ball that holds the Ghost of Life. A 16 year old girl is sent with him. They have 12 days until time is out and he is dead forever and is the new Ghost of Life.
