Charlotte Diana Elizabeth Wintersworth has come of age where she can wed and Rule her country England as the birthright Queen. Charlotte's Father Charles passed away in battle against Scotland. She must marry the Recently widowed King of France, Zacharie Louis DeLeCroix in order to keep her place as queen. Their engagement has been set and in stone since they were 4 years old. Charlotte struggles through the love she lost in England while the King of France convinces himself he could never love another like he loved his late wife Meridian whom he lost in childbirth. Not only does Charlotte have to learn to love the King of France and forget about her old lover, but learn to also love the King's child his late wife left behind. Charlotte must face love, betrayal, disloyalty, and death. Did I also mention that the Queen and King are only merely 18 years old?
