Marlene McKinnon is an intelligent young woman. She's shy and typically tries to avoid being noticed, but once put in Gryffindor, she was forced into the spotlight. Even without the spotlight, however, she's very able to catch the attention of a certain Marauder.

Sirius Black is, well, Sirius Black. He's bold, outspoken, and needs to learn to think twice. And his type just happens to be his polar opposites. While the girl he's fallen in love with can manage to captivate him easily, he finds it a challenge to even get the time of day from her.

Will that ever change?
