"Why do you care about me so much!?" I shout at him with warm tears falling down my face.
He stares at me not saying anything. Probably from my sudden out burst.
"I'm a mess up! I do nothing but cause you trouble and get people killed!" I couldn't stop shouting. I had to let it all out.
I take the picture out of my pocket and shove it on his chest.
"This is probably a picture of some other little sister you lost, but I know for sure that sweet little girl isn't some demonic monster like me!"
I stared down at the ground still crying. I was too ashamed to look at him.
I turned around and walked away.
~~~~~~~~~~~
What would you do if you found out you had a sister you never knew you had?
Would you try to figure out more information and try to find her, or would you just ignore the fact and carry on with life?
If you ignore the fact you have a lost sister, would it destroy you inside?
If you already had the perfect life and you knew doing this would destroy it, would you still do it?
Why?
"But it's not all their fault." I sob. "They aren't the reason she's dead." "... and neither are you... Why do you insist on blaming yourself?" "Because I could've done better... I should have been there... I should have saved her..." "You were there with her all night, you did all that you could have." I shake my head. "No, Will, I wasn't." I clear the tears trying to see what his expression was. "I left in the middle of the night... To-meet Logan..." I look at his face. "That still doesn't make it your fault..." I nod. "It does" I start to walk inside when he calls out my name, I whirl around to face him. "Why do you care so much?!" "I'm afraid you're going to hurt yourself!" I smile. "No, I only hurt others" I turn back around to face the door, when he spoke one last time. "Please do something that gives you reason to come out." I thought about that. "Go home, Will." I close the door behind me and proceed to walk up the stairs and return back to my beloved bed. As I lay in my bed, I stare at the ceiling. 'Do something that gives you reason to come out.' Is that what he had said. he's right, and I had just the thing to do. I'd find Ellie's killer and make them pay. Bailey realizes if she wants her best friend to get the justice she deserves, she's gonna have to catch the killer herself.
The door slid open without a sound and I found myself punched in the gut. All along the walls were pictures of friends and family. How could I take this away from someone? All of this opportunity and hope? Who was I to decide that he should die? I saw fearful grey eyes staring up at me. "I'm sorry about this. It'll be over soon." Looking away, I slit his throat. His body fell to the ground with a thud and I took a step back. I had just killed someone whose name I didn't even know... K'dela has always been trained to always follow orders. No matter how you think about it, no matter how wrong it seems to be, never, ever, question it. Your life might depend on it. But when orders are to kill others, doesn't it mean that you're sacrificing others, potentially thousands of others, just to save one life; yourself? Honestly, K'dela never had a big problem with it, until she met someone who might just be worth defying orders for. TRIGGER WARNING: Violence, blood, death. WORK IN PROGRESS‼️ ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── There was no noise; I was at peace, and ironically, the stone-cold pavement never seemed warmer as my blood oozed out of me and around me like a painted canvas. I was slowly losing consciousness, but my mind never seemed happier now that I was dying. The white walls with big bright lights did not resemble heaven; in fact, it was quite the opposite. I thought I had died. When I came to, I found myself in this strange place, disoriented and confused. I looked around and found another five pairs of eyes looking at me with the same emotion swirling in their gaze. Now, 15 years later, I train with these girls. Our makers take care of us, feed us, and make sure we are clean, healthy, and fit. Some of us never had that; that's probably why it took so long for us to realize we were being used. The dirty work they made us do, none of us questioned it. How could we when we were taken off the streets? For a chance at normalcy, we settled for anything, even if that meant blurring the lines of right and wrong. After a mission gone haywire, we started noticing, and now we strike back to take our voices and reclaim the power that was used on us as a way to control us. After all, they are the ones who trained us; we are just returning our long-overdue favour. ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── Rankings : Featured in Mystery-thriller #5 in Mystery-thriller on 7/12/24
[Completed] " You're so annoying", he suddenly says with pity in his eyes, analyzing my face in disgust. "I prefer to be annoying than a psycho like you!" "You don't know what you're missing, silly girl. My world is a psycho one, true, but so much interesting than yours." He grabs his knife, ready to stab me at any moment. I need to find something to say. Now. "Show me then." He looks at me with surprise and incomprehension. "What?" He pulls his knife away and I know I've won. "Show me your world. In return, I'll show you mine. I'll show you all the beautiful things in it. I'll show you how to be human again." And with that, my world has never been the same anymore. ******************** The character of Jeff isn't mine. Please note that it's a story about Jeff the Killer, but without all the creepypasta thing. I tried to imagine how he'd be if he lived in our real world. Sorry for the grammar mistakes, I'm not from an English speaking country.
