I wrote this story between Season One and Two of the Will Forte FOX series and hoped that this is how the story could continue. As we know now, they took the show in a somewhat different direction. Note: I did not know what Phil(Tandy)'s brother's name was going to be at the time I wrote this. In this story, Phil discovers that his brother on the International Space Station is still alive and the crew from the cul de sac (in Tucson) devise a plan to return him to Earth. I also offer an origin story for The Virus. I hope you enjoy it. Please comment.

A Different Virus - Laura's Story
This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Feeding Frenzy
In a blink of an eye, the whole world can change. Evey had always lived a normal life. She was an emergency room nurse, had friends, and had a family that she loved. Her mundane world changes when she watches a man attack and feast on the flesh of another man at a gas station. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated attack. Majority of the population has been infected with an unknown airborne virus. Not only does it cause people to foam at the mouth and bleed from the eyes, but it turns them into mindless creatures that are hungry for flesh. Zombies? Not quite. They are infected, not dead. Evey's life is destroyed when her family becomes Infected. Being one of the few Immune, Evey is taken away to a military base with other people who seem to not be infected by the virus. There she meets multiple people including Ford, a stubborn and stern soldier that she is always disagreeing with but finds herself distracted by his eyes. The Immune band together and work for survival. Will they ever be able to find a cure? At what cost would they go to stay safe? Will they kill each other before being eaten alive?Terminé

Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along. I lost myself somewhere between space and time. I repeated my name over and over, refusing to leave myself behind. After what felt like hours, I was myself again, strapped to a chair with Jesse materializing in front of me. I'm Stasey. When the aliens attacked Earth, myself, my best friend Jesse, and my "friend" Timothy may have been the only people to survive. We're on a quest to find other survivors and potentially save our planet, but to do that we have to avoid being shot, eaten, or falling in love. The year is 3000. Everybody is either dead, trying to survive, or a Half-ling. A Half-ling is what you turn into if you were unfortunate enough to get The Virus and survive. The Virus was a terrible disease that killed most of the world's population. It ate away at your body from the inside out, and there was nothing anyone could do. Until you completely disappeared. You were literally eaten alive; bone and all. Jason was one of the few who didn't catch The Virus, along with his sister Maria. They have to battle the elements, Half-lings, other survivors, and themselves just to stay alive. What happens when Maria is captured by a group of Half-lings, and taken away from her brother?
