"Curiosity would be your downfall" my mother's voice again rang in my head over and over again as I slowly ascended the staircase. Go back to Teddy Bear tell her you are sorry. One step after the other and finally we arrived at her class. Her empty class. She turned and looked at me and I looked back at her.
