Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?" With her Mom constantly struggling to keep her family running due to the lack of income her family receives. Adeline is forced to pull her weight for her family by working more than 2 times a week, causing pure exhaustion and anxiety. When time rolls around and suddenly Adeline is buttoning up her uniform for school, she's shocked as to why 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢 calls out to her in the hallway. 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢 a boy who's past is constantly haunting him and coming back to bite him in the ass. Can't help but be drawn to the new girl. He doesn't know her name, he doesn't know where she comes from. He doesn't know anything. However the only thing he does know, is that he can't help but feel pulled towards her.
