Answering the Call
This is a series of AU vignettes in which each member of the Fellowship hears the call of the Ring -- and answers it. My take on the big What-If. Varying degrees of angst, drama, action, and perhaps a little more angst. This series won First Place in the MEFA Awards quite a few years ago now. This idea brewed in my brain for a long time before I finally got it out of my head and onto 'paper.' It would never have happened without my beta reader, Thundera Tiger, and I can't thank her enough. Without her guidance and encouragement, this story would never have seen the light of day, nor would I have considered posting any of my writing. The way to Gondor (Aragorn and Legolas fanfic)

Aragorn meets Legolas on a trip to Rivendell. Later they think they will never meet again. Then the one ring is found, and Elrond summons representatives of elves, dwarfs and men to his council, to build a fellowship. Once again, the ranger from the north and the elven prince go on a journey together. But now, whole Middle-earth lies in the hands of their alliance, and they cannot show what the reunion really means to them. Avadis - A legolas story (slow moving!)
The eagles in LOTR don't have much of a purpose besides appearing and saving the day, so this book brings a new race to Middle Earth that has more involvement with them. And one of these characters might possibly come to meet a certain elf, who knows?
Forever By Your Side
After Frodo leaves for the Undying Lands, the three remaining hobbits travel home. Sam takes this split the hardest, falling into a deep depression. When Merry and Pippin lose all hope, they make a desperate call for help. All characters, worlds and languages belong to Tolkien, I own none of them (only my own fantasy writing of course).
