He tilted his head to the side and gazed at her curiously. "Hey," he said as he tapped her lightly on the shoulder.
It was a mere whisper that snapped her attention to him. She could barely notice her rescuer lifting her up from the ground before she felt her heavy eyes close shut and everything faded to black.

hello readers! this was a short story I was working on two years ago and I wasn't sure if I should leave it at that or if I should continue and write this into a novel.
I have some great ideas for this story but at the moment this will be a side project, I know how inpatient y'all are for YWRRM so I'll be working on that.
