Brenna’s year has not been going the way she wanted. In January her only grandpa left died. Her grades have been going town hill in the last months of her junior year. Brenna finds out that her boyfriend she had been dating for two years has been cheating on her with one of her best friends, well now ex-best friend, for a year and she didn’t realize it. The only thing that is going right in her life so far is her family and handful of friends. Just when Brenna thinks her life can’t get any crazier, her mom tells her that her childhood best friend is coming back from New York after moving away eight years ago. All at once Brenna is dreading his return, but at the same time she can’t be more excited. Will the two pick up where they left off? Or will things take a turn for the worst?
