ok just a few side notes before anyone reads this
i'm a rambly writer and i probably write waaaaay too much but that's just the way i write, so if you like long chapters then read on
i'm really crappy at ending chapters so yeah
this fic is about matt. not alec. matt is not gay. alec lightwood from shadowhunters (which matt is well known for portraying) is a character who is gay. please respect that and go watch matt in the film's he's straight in if you find it "weird" he's with a girl in this fic

Basically Psych, only with the Shadowhunters cast and mixed with whatever my mind decides to run away with. Magnus has an eidetic memory, he can pick out the most sublet things and follow them to the right answer. He uses it to solve cases, help the police, and generally wreak havoc. Not only does it annoy and embarrass his dad, It gives him a chance to annoy/shamelessly flirt with the gorgeous, though really uptight, head detective, Alexander Lightwood. So, you know, Win, win.
