All of her life, 15 year old Marley Reynolds has always felt overshadowed and useless. 

She has talents, but they're mediocre. She can carry a tune, but her voice isn't remarkable. She can dance to a routine but not on her own. She makes average grades in her classes. 

Marley only has two weeks to prove her worth and talents or she'll be forced to leave her family behind and join the Outcasts; the people that don't belong. 

The Outcasts wander the streets, begging for money, they get ridiculed and treated like less than human.
