(I'M JUST FANGIRLING. ~~~This is FICTIONAL!!! I'm sure real-life Gerard is not like the vampire Gerard that appears later in the book. (One example: Gerard is anti-violence, and in this, he does some pretty violent things. If you think of it that way.)
