In a world that was once filled with magic and hope, a great king ruled with kindness. His love of colour and art was unmatched. But when the king passed away, his son, Prince Aramis was stuck heavily by grief. He outlawed art and the use of colour to try and distance himself from grief. 

But on the outskirts of the Empire city, in a small cottage made of straw and stone. A young girl dare go against such laws. She never knew what she was destined for. Or how she would change the world.

But when Ellion finds something interesting about Lord Tremaine's past wives, one of which being his mother, he is led to believe that his step-father is behind their deaths. While Ellion tries to figure out how to convict his step-father, he meets Prince Henri, who decides to help. (This is a short story with short chapters.
