Quincy always thought she was normal. Until her 14th birthday when she turned her Aunt Rudy into a Rutubaga. After the incident she is whisked away by a mysterious stranger named Pasquale. Pasquy reveals that she is a Qwelf, a magical being who was created to keep balance in the world. Quincy discovers that she is the descendant of a powerful line of Qwelfs and she is destined to make a choice that could either save or destroy the world. With the approaching conflict of the Durkas who are beginning to reform their evil ranks will Quincy be able to gather the Qwelfs and defeat them? Or will the legion of Qwelfs fail and be gone forever? Throw in a confusing love triangle between Quincy, Pasquale and the Durka Morty and a best friend who spontaneously turns into a flying squirrel and also add a pinch of salt as Quincy adventures across Japan to defeat the durk lord Cumulonimbus. She's in for a hell of a ride, that's for sure
