A young mage, joined Gaia (the Earth army) because of what she and most Earthborn fold believed it fought for Only, shortly after joining the army, she realizes that the army isn't what it seems and it isn't fighting for the causes that they propagate; causes for which she feels strongly. Is she a traitor if she leaves Gaia only to pursue what she thought she had signed up for? Doesn't everyone human or non-human deserve equality?
(This story is currently in the "just get it onto paper" stage. PLEASE let me know what you think whether you dislike/like a part, or anything at all! I'd love some feedback. I'll gladly give you feedback on your works as well :) just shoot me a PM.)

She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive.
