Prologue

June 6, 1944
The Allied forces carried out a major amphibious landing operation on German-occupied Normandy.
Jackal still remembers that day quite vividly.
Bombers were covering the sky, the burning grounds, and burnt bodies that were scorched to the point of unrecognition.
In that hellish reality,
in order to save his life savior,
in order to stay alive,
and in order to survive the war,
he eventually reached out and grabbed his gun.
When the coldness of the trigger touched his finger, the instinct of the hunter roaming around Mt. Baekdu stirred up.
"I can't die in a place like this. My mother...I have to meet my mother!"
This was the moment the legend of the "Devil of Cherbourg" began.
And on July 1944, the allied forces set an enormous price on the Devil of Cherbourg. Dead or alive.
However, even after the war had ceased, no one knew the whereabouts of the man who had put fear into the minds of the entire allied forces. Even to this day.

48 parts Complete
(Still correcting for errors!) The German soldier goes through many things during his time at war, love, horror, and fear. But every soldier of any side knows that there's only one way out. He'll have to survive the new technologies of warfare. A soldier's greatest strength is bravery and moral that grows and lives in the soul. Soldiers test their strength in battle, the strong ones die as the weak ones run. War is an experience that is limited. We all don't know what it's really like. When you look at a soldier that has been at war, you can see it, its written on their faces and engraved in their eyes. A World War Two fiction story about a young man named Albert Schroeder, a twenty one year old German soldier of the Wehrmacht, has been sent to Western Russia to fight the Soviet Union in the summer of June 1944. In military training in Northern Germany, he meets another soldier named Kurt Smith. Kurt has been his friend since military training until his death in a battle against the Soviets during the early night. After Kurt's death, Albert faces many problems with another death of one of Kurt's friends from high school, Ralph Schäfer that he had just met. Albert will then be taken to a place many soldiers of his kind have gone before, a Russian P.O.W camp and might stay there for most of the war until it is over or will Albert try to escape during the night and go on a huge journey back to Germany? Avaline Baker is a young woman on a camping trip with friends when she decides to go into a museum that will change her life forever. Somehow transported into the future, Ava finds herself at the barrel tip of Nazi German soldier. Transported to their camp as prisoner, Ava is lost and confused as to what, where, and who she is with...the how part is the most antagonizing. Shortly after being saved by two American men, Ava discovers she's been placed at the center of World War Two. Surrounded by warfare and American men who have strict mindsets about women in the the 1940's, the 21-year-old feels like she has no hope of surviving. To even have a chance, Ava has to prove that just because she's a woman, doesn't mean she isn't capable of fighting to survive like the rest of them. Ava finds herself stuck in 1944, with "strange" technology called a cell phone, no way of charging it, and no way of getting home. In the midst of a gruesome and horrifying war, she finds herself questioning more than just sanity of the time period, but even her own. Hopefully, with careful and calculating steps, Ava will survive the blistering cold winters, the first-hand experience of a war, and developing a difficult bond with the men of 1st Platoon. --•--•--•-- This is a work of fan-fiction, which means I don't own practically anything. Except for Aveline Baker and some scenes. Will be based off of/follow the campaign. This work has content pertaining to difficult aspects of WW2 including blood and gore; swearing/harsh language; sexual/crude comments and actions; German POW camps; etc. Please DO NOT READ if you aren't comfortable or have too strong opinions on things related to WW2. It's a fictional story and, thus, should be treated like it. On flip side, there will humor. Especially from Zussman- we all like him. And don't forget moments from hardass Pierson...those will get interesting too. ;) ~Started on September 1st, 2018~ ~Finished September 1st, 2019~

Red

37 parts Complete Mature

I twist the end of the red strings that tie around my neck. My red hood flying behind me, as if wings. I hear a loud creak and turn around quickly. The red eyes glow amongst the darkness. The air reeked of the smell of sulfur. I point my crossbow into the darkness. "Show yourself" I shout out calmly. "Oh, little miss Red, you are looking for Jenivive, aren't you? Well it's just me, her loyal servant" The voice echoes through the abandoned factory. Damn it! "Bastian, show yourself!" I yell, and hear the sound of someone running. I turn around to see Bastian in my face, no breathe flowed from his mouth. I immediately shoot, sending holy water into its core, and into its blood stream. It falls over and begins spazing out. "Go back to hell!" I yell and stab it with my blade. My red hood flew backwards, causing my black hair to be shown. My black boots stretched to my knees. My crystal blue eyes shown bright. My red lips perfectly placed. Many people said I was the definition of beauty.
