Part Two of " The Hunted One Series. "

In a world where Paranormals have just been discovered, a gifted teenage girl running from her past and a nightmare that haunts her finds trouble at every turn.

After making a few friends she can trust, she begins to build a new life, and even finds the love of her dreams.  But she knows living a normal life is impossible for someone like her; as she always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time; relentlessly hunted by The Special Unit. 

Forced into a fight she never wanted she suffers a loss she can't forgive.  Will she ever find peace, or will the hurt and anger flowing through her make her nothing more than a vengeful weapon?



This story is written from Caitlin's point of view but don't worry.  Kyle, Sarah and the others will take part in her journey.

While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence.
