Me and my eleven friends and our one child are still alive, we aren't infected by the walkers, we still act...human. The water does not run anymore. There is little food, little clothes, no contact. Nothing. People just started dying about a year or so, in 1832 almost everyone had the disease, now it seems everything you see has it. People and animals are vicious they bite you, and try to eat and kill you. They are abnormal, and something is wrong with their nervous system. We are living in a small two bedroom basement sweet we've boarded up the upstairs doors and windows. Downstairs we have 5 locks on the door, and keep a heavy couch in front. We must do this to keep the walkers out, we have also closed up all the windows, we live in darkness using candles flashlights and any other sort of light we can find. We are stocking up on food, and supplies. We plan on getting some cars and making our way to the ocean, they can't get us out there. I worry for everyone I am with, we are trained in the force, we all worked for the army. We came home to this, to nothing. We are the only ones that I know of from our force to have lived. I worry mainly for my sister, niece and boyfriend. Melissa and Shelby are my two best friends, I worry about them non-stop. I know everyone here, I worry about us all.

We are a whisper in the world, and we can't be heard.

In February of 2009, a man went to the hospital to be treated for a brain tumor. Upon further examination, another unknown virus in this man's brain and blood was discovered. On scanners, it looked like a black blob of darkness, sparking slightly in the stems of his brain. This was completely new to the doctors. Proper tumor removal was never performed, in fear that this strange, eerie darkness was dangerous. They didn't even have time before the patient's brain shut down. But they continued their research, finding that the brain started up again. Now, the virus spread to the patient's entire brain. It created a spark in his system that caused him to reanimate. While that may seem joyous, it took a violent turn for the worst. They thought the patient would remember his past life, and went to perform several tests on him. The patient attacked the doctors and nurses and tore them limb from limb. Blood sprayed everywhere as the once kind person was devouring their insides. They tried detaining him but bullets had no avail on him- Until stricken directly in the head. The infection spread throughout the hospital, until people out on the streets were biting and eating each other left and right. Some people were terrified of all of this. Others were amazed. Further research continued on this unknown virus that wiped out mankind. How far will man go to save themselves or others? How far has humanity fallen down the drain? Can people change for the better, even the worst people? Or is all hope truly lost forever? Is everyone doomed? Shall we resort to our primitive ways? !! Warning: Paranormal dark drama, mature, adults only! A Content Warning is provided with the trigger list. Please be safe in what you read. (Condensed scene from the POV of Kayla) I can never have children, and I'm sure my mate felt what happened to me. If I ever meet him, he is sure to reject me. It's one of the reasons I always stay in my pack lands. I don't want to meet him. I stare at the beautiful blue sky and head to the coffee café in our little town for a much-needed comfort drink. I'm a few steps away when my wolf starts to go crazy. I stop and lean against a wall while taking a few deep breaths. My pack teaches us how to prevent our wolves from taking over and shifting. This skill saved my life once upon a time. I used it now as she desperately wanted out so we could find our mate. He was in danger. While I may not want to meet him, I don't want him hurt. I fought for control as she wouldn't let up. I started to slide down to my knees just as the most horrible pain hit me. My scream and my wolf's howl came out of my mouth simultaneously. I knew what was happening as I had lived through this nightmare. He was losing his innocence without his consent. The tears streamed down my face as I yelled my anguish. My fellow pack members surrounded me. Someone held me as I sobbed my torment, but I didn't know who. My wolf was no longer fighting for control, just releasing her own loud cries. I would never wish this on my worst enemy, and it was happening to my mate. Just as I thought I couldn't handle more, my heart skipped a beat, a pain I never wanted to feel again, as my entire body shut down. That monster just marked my mate. *** This is a new werewolf world, never seen before. Read at your own risk! zombie apocalypse | the fallen (book One) [REWRITING]

33 parts Complete

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.
