Since the beginning of time, the people of Eaopa have been divided into classes; Blue Lions, Gold Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Hyenas, and Mice.
The symbol that separates them is ensured on their flesh at birth, members of one class only being able to breed with another mate of the same class.
The system has gone unbroken for over one thousand years.
  Until now.
Born between two Mice by a miracle, Marai was born a Blue Lion, the highest ranking symbol possible.
Knowing if anyone discovered this their family would be killed, they dyed their daughter's hair red and placed a peelable tattoo over her symbol that claimed her as royalty.

And if anyone finds out, she'd be dead on the spot.

  How long will Marai survive?

Will she overthrow this system of hatred?

  Or will she die trying?

"Merry meet. I am Cordelia of the Most Inbreded and Snobbish House of Rosier." Contrary to popular belief, Sirius Black wasn't the biggest disgrace. No, that title rightfully belonged to Cordelia Rosier. (Secretly, of course). ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In the Rosier household, words such as 'blood-traitor' and 'muggle-lover' is spat on with hatred. There is no bigger betrayal than thinking that the 'mud-bloods' are worth having magic. By the age of seven, Cordelia Rosier was quite sure that she was one of the blood-traitors that her family detests. Don't get her wrong, she loves her family with all her heart, soul and being and she wouldn't trade her parents and older brother for anything in the world, but there are just a few things that she doesn't necessarily agree on with them. Opinions on blood-purity happen to be one of them. That doesn't mean she'll admit to them about it though. Like she mentioned, she loves her family and she doesn't want to disappoint them. But there is no reason she can't do both, right? Surely, there must be some way that she doesn't have to make it publicly known about her thoughts on blood-purity while still keeping true to her personal beliefs, right? When Cordelia met Sirius Black one evening, there couldn't have been two children who became faster friends. Join Cordelia as she navigates through school and life in general, discovering the true meaning of deception as she plays a game of 'blood-traitor, 'blood-traitor not' with everybody and realises the difference between 'want to' and 'have to' But that all comes much later. After all, she's currently only a first-year, and right now, there are more important things to worry about like classes, homework and why somebody is trying to kill all the Hufflepuffs. Willow's had to fight to get to where she is now. She doesn't need anyone telling her what to do or how to do it. Her life is perfect the way it is, but it's near impossible for her to fulfill her wants of keeping her independent lifestyle. For starters, Willow isn't even human; she's a Volpe (fox-shifter), but being a Volpe is more complicated than simply being able to shift into a fox. For thousands of years, there were only humans and for those thousands of years, they killed each other over the color of their skin. But that was then. Now shifters are an everyday part of life and no one cares about the color of a person's skin: it's their species, and it's even worse than it was between humans and the levels of melanin in their skin. Volpes are the most hated of all the species. Supposedly cunning and deceitful to many, they are discriminated against and viewed as nuisances. Lupos (wolf-shifters) hate them most of all, with Volpes returning the favor. Lupos - with their powerful packs and Alphas throughout the world - have the obvious social advantage over Volpes, but that doesn't stop the world from turning and the natural course of events to happen. Every shifter will eventually find and bond to a person who compliments them in every sense for no other reason than a cruel twist of their reproductive biology. With little to no conscious decision as to who their "mate" will be, two shifters - two strangers - are forced together, their fates forever intertwined because of a chance encounter. To many, this is seen as a blessing, but to Willow, a so-called "soul-mate" is the farthest thing from her mind. Will the sparks fly or will the fists fly when she realizes that a member of the very species she resents so passionately is her mate? How can a Lupo ever be with a Volpe when all they see each other as are the harmful stereotypes of their species? How will their bond evolve into something that uncovers secrets decades in the making?

Rose knew she isn't normal. And neither was her family. Like which family force their daughter to live alone and change her house every single fucking year, definitely not a normal one. She wanted to find answers to all the hidden secrets kept by her family and she got the chance when one day, during her 'annual ritual' of shifting houses, a group of zombies attacked her........ and she met him. ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ "Creature?" "Well, it implies to all kinds collectively. Both of bright land and dark land. The world is roughly segregated into three categories. First where humans reside alongside hunters, second Bright land, where all the mermaids, fairies, Pegasus, etc. creatures of the day live and on the contrary, third, the dark land where creatures of the night like vampires, werewolves, zombies, dragons, etc. live." ------------------------------------But what she didn't know was she has inherited the curse which had destroyed her mother's life before and is about to do the same with her. ------------------------------------ "So I am not a human? I am half dark and half bright land's creature?" "And that's what makes you human. How do you think the first human was born? Humans are hybrids of creatures of dark and light. But the firstborn humans had superpowers. Power no one can control. But with evolution, most humans lost their powers. Some are still left, those are known as hunters, but their powers are nowhere as strong as the firstborns." "So if Damon found out that I am a half-half hybrid, he will kill me?" "Without a doubt." First I couldn't be with my mate because he is a vampire prince and I belongs to a family of werewolves and now this. Fuck my life....... ------------------------------------
