SAGGISTICA
Sarcastic, witty, 17 year-old Cooper doesn't want to accept that he has depression after his parents and younger sister are taken in a fatal car accident. He moves in with his charismatic aunt the summer before his senior year and most of his summer consists of seeing his therapist Dr. Roberts and doing the activities that will "help him get in touch with his inner self". His summer takes an abrupt turn when his aunt suggests that he help tutor the new neighbor next door, Logan. Logan is in second grade and suffers from bone cancer, leaving him with only half of his left leg, the rest prosthetic . Cooper and Logan click instantly into a brother-like companionship, and realizing how critical Logan's cancer is and how little time he has left, Cooper decides to create a bucket list and complete it before the summer ends, all while recording every activity and uploading it to A YouTube channel entitled "Luke's Channel". Instantly gaining fans, the channel has gone viral and fans from around the world donate to Logan and his cause in order for him to raise enough money to reach his biggest goal, to go to Disneyland. Cooper spends his summer helping Logan reach his greatest dreams without the realization that in actuality, Logan's helped him more.
