"Dressed in bronze chainmail armour like a snake's skin, a heavy silver, poison dipped arrow in his hand, a bow on the other, and face blocked off by his helmet, the knight stood his ground on top of the mountain's cliff as the dragon swooped down at him. On and on they went, shooting arrows and fire at each other, until the man was down to his last arrow.

The evil, obsidian beast and its radiant blue flames had taken everything from him. And now he would do the same.

But as he placed his last arrow on his bow, the dragon came down at him with his sharp, charcoal black talons and slashed at the knight. The beast tore through his armour and body, pushing him back with the powerful beating if his wings.

As the young knight tumbled downhill, a strange beauty came running into the clearing at the bottom of the beast's layer.

His helmet slipped off his head and revealed a bloody, bruised face. A familiar face.

And it was only then, I realized the knight was me, and woke up with gasp."

§ FALLEN FEATHERS IS OFFICIALLY COMPLETED § • This is the EDITED version of Fallen Feathers. Please feel free to read it (I suggest you do). Enjoy! • I stumbled blindly in the woods, lost. I was tired and so unsure of where I was, or where I was going. It had been days since I fled our village, burned to the ground. I remembered it well. Villagers were running and screaming frantically, fleeing as they were slaughtered from the front and behind. The looks of fear and surprise as the bodies fell to the ground... I watched from a distance, but still felt lost in the chaos. The raiders rushing about on horseback, or on foot, and the wolves they had tamed! Houses burning, children screaming, corpses littering the ground ... I wouldn't remember. I couldn't remember. My parents, in our cabin, made of wood... Burning, trapped inside ... Ashes falling and smoke everywhere. I urged myself to run away, to look away, but I couldn't. I stood helplessly and watched my parents burning, my mother screaming frantically. There was one raider, the raider mounted on horseback, who had the howling wolf tattoo on his arm, just as the rest of the Raiders. He watched as my parents burned, cackling to himself. I wanted to run and fight, but I couldn't. It was no use, they were already dead. I touched my mother's silver dragon necklace. I took it from her, after she died. Struggling to fight back tears, I tripped over a tree root, and fell to the ground. I was lost, and hopelessly so.

A cursed Serpentine Dragon from another realm is thrown into a new dimension after being chosen for a destiny she did not want to follow. Now she runs for her life from a tribe of Dragon Hunters ""I fell through the void for some time until I landed on the pale, yellow stone of the huge island mass floating isolated in the vile purple abyss, and in the process created a large crater around me, about 100 metres in diameter. I pulled myself up, still engulfed in anger but also mostly confused and dizzy, and looked around. Tall, solid obsidian pillars stretched hundreds of meters into the sky all around the island of the Ender Realm, it's surface rough and uneven. I sensed other living creatures within the realm along with me. Creatures with long slender bodies, coloured completely black and allowing no light to reflect of their skin. Purple droplets of slimy liquid dripped off their long-stretched limbs which moved and swayed like long ropes showing no visible signs of bones. 3 claw like fingers poked out from the ends of their hands. It was if their whole inner bodies were made entirely of ink all held together in a black skin like a balloon. Their faces were flat, showing no emotion, only two eerie luminous violet eyes- that's it. A distorted noise echoed from them, since they had no visible mouths I don't know how they made those notices but it sounded completely unnatural."" =Competition!!! 30 parts Complete Mature

Before you begin this story, I must warn you first. This is not a tale of dashing knights and lovely damsels awaiting rescue. It is not the tale of happy endings, with birdsong and rides into the sunset. It is a tale of light magic and dark, of dragons and monsters, of heroes and villains and the thin line between them. This is the tale of being broken, being made stronger, and then being broken again. This is a story of love of heartbreak so great if feels like your chest has been hollowed out and scraped clean, like you would never feel anything else ever again, and of love so powerful it can make even the gods tremble. This is not a happy story, but it is our story, and it is the only one I know how to tell. ********************** FORSAKEN is the first tale in the Saga of Darkness, following six brothers and sisters who have been named the Chosen of the Gods, destined to fight a great darkness that threatens their world. But evil wears many faces, and it will take the efforts of all- Kryssa, Brannyn, Lanya, Kylee, Alyxen, and Reyce- to survive the harrowing trials to come. ********************** FORSAKEN is a completed novel, being posted as a serial. Books Two through Five in the Saga of Darkness are also complete. Chapters posted every Monday and Friday.
