Far but close from home, a group of teens are forced into a new world and trying to make sense of all that has happened with the help of unexpected friends and enemies along the way. The undead isn't the worst thing to fear in the apocalypse.

This book is filled with many different short stories, but they all have one thing in common: Each story shows reality and how much people can hurt and how much they can love. Some are much longer than others and some are very short, but they all have a something to show. Each story has nothing to do with another, but they all have similar meanings.

Quinn's final year of high school should've been her easiest one. But suddenly instead of focusing on her classes, she has to focus on staying alive. People she knows are infected and turned into flesh eating undead after a virus spreads rapidly through the world. Quinn can only watch her home fall into chaos as the city becomes overrun with the infected. As the world is claimed by the undead and hostile survivors, she is forced to learn how to survive.
