Alexandra Josephine le Roux is a throw-away. A human tossed to the wolves - literally. Her parents didn't want her or didn't care enough to look for her. This is what she believed and honestly? She didn't really mind. Growing up with Doc and her sis Belle wasn't perfect but it was home and she was happy. She learned early in life to stop searching for more and be content with what is. But her normal, happy life is thrown in dissaray one night when a brutal attack on her pack leaves her with a sister to protect, questions about her biological family and doubting her own humanity. Will she give in to a love that could ruin her? Will she be able to fulfill the prophesy about her and change mankind? Will she be able to survive?

I've watched and witnessed the mate bond between numerous wolves throughout the years. Werewolves. We all have a mate. One that is meant to be the other halves of our souls. Mates destined just for each other. When a wolf finds their mate, it should be the most wonderful experience. Love at first sight at its best. I wanted to feel what they felt. I wanted to meet my mate. I wanted to fall irresistibly, undeniably, and eternally in love. That's what mates are supposed to do, but I learned it's not the case for everybody. It wasn't the case for me. ____________________________________________ Camilla is starting a new life in a new pack after the death of her Grandfather, the man that raised her. Her grandfather had taught her the laws of a great werewolf ruler in the making. She learns the hard way that not everybody plays by the rules. Her Alpha mate tosses her away like yesterday's trash, literally. She will need to learn how to stay strong and survive against the werewolves that make up their own rules. What she doesn't realize is that there is something more dangerous lurking in the shadows. Something so ferocious it brings strong reason for being afraid of the dark.
