This poem was an unexpected emotional break. 
Growing up i went through lot with my father and i feel like 
he's a little too distracted to hear me at times. If it doesn't have a rhythm he seems to 
have better things to do. Any way this was my alternative to express how i felt, and to tell him that his action wasn't ok.All Rights Reserved

I've tried to release this pain in so many different ways; But writing about you seems to be one of my faves. I don't understand how I find closure When I know it only lasts until the poem is over. Somehow it feels like some sort of imaginary relief to my reality. As if, the pain I feel only exists until the words are free. Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal. Curse words being streamed at me and you would have thought I had a father for a sailor. ~E.M.C Many poems focusing on the subject of Mental Illness, that many suffer with and the subject just isn't brought up enough. I fall onto the floor. Why do I have to be clumsy? I hear my father wake up. He sits up and sees me. His eyes are drilling into mine. I now know I'm just good as dead... I was running...running endlessly trying to find the door in this long dark hallway At the end of the hallway i finally found the front door ' i finally escaped ' i thought as i made it through the door into the front of the house I ran, ran as fast as my tiny legs could allow me to move...as i reached the front gate my body froze in fear All i heard was a dark chuckle from Him.
