A girl named Kathryn and her best friend, Kasumi, live a normal life. Kathryn lives in a nice apartment and goes to school with Kasumi every day. The thing is.....Kathryn has a past......An interesting past.....Kasumi is there too, but she isn't exactly...human back then. Kathryn and Kasumi used to live in a place called Fiore. There is Magic there. Amazing magic. Kathryn was actually a VERY powerful wizard. The most powerful. Kasumi was her dark key. Kasumi was a spirit. Well, when Kathryn was on a mission for her guild, FairyTail, she failed and was sent ahead of time to a strange place with little magic power. So little that she can't use magic at all. Well, once a year she can. This year, Kathryn and Kasumi are going to combine each other's magic power to try and go back to their home in Fiore. Interesting things end up happening....
