He had to stoop right down when he winked because he was so tall
I had to steady myself, c'mon, I was about to fall
Not that I'd fallen for him...not at all
The fact was...
I was the kinda girl who did the thinking,
Definitely not an object of ANY hot guy's winking
I did inspire a lot of blinking 
Because, well, I looked like the Titanic sinking
If my wire-rimmed glasses were any indication,
I was out of bounds 
 I had ensured that piece of information
Had made its rounds
So I was awestruck, wondering if he hadn't heard
Heard that winking at a girl like me was most absurd
