Eduluxe does her best to fit in among the queen's ladies in waiting. It's not easy of course, but she has an unusual secret that no one can know which makes life as the invisible servant nearly impossible. But when a crazed madman bursts into the royal hall screaming about assassins and the end of the world as they knew it, Eduluxe is forced to make a choice. Believe this madman and risk exposing herself? Or ignore him and try to live her life in peace? Whichever she chooses she must choose quickly, because she keeps seeing a shadowed figure who stalks her, yet disappears whenever she tries to catch them.
