Red hair curtained around a pale face with bright emerald eyes. A small and intelligent face with thin lips. 

That was all Lindsey managed to see before those thin lips were pressed roughly against her own.

By the time my eyes rose she was only inches from me, her hair falling about her shoulders because of the speed she used. She looked me over thoroughly, and I raised my chin and narrowed my eyes. Nothing but a small smile from her in response made me frown. "What is wrong, son of Jor-El?" her voice was soft but smooth. "You know who I am?" "Of course I do, it's right here--" She traced the "S" on my chest with a single finger and then trailed down to my belt and tapped it. "I'm sorry about your parents." She paused, touching my hair. "So, you are the last son of Krypton...and there is still no order here?" "Who are you?" "Can't read?" She asked, clucking her tongue as she put her hands on her hips. My eyes went down as she tapped her belt, but then I felt my cheeks flush. "Shame, Kal-El, shame." "What?" "Last son you may be, Kal-El, but I'm the last daughter." And she was gone in a flash of white and gold...quicker than the blink of an eye, a speeding bullet. Like me. NOTE: I am aware of the DC Comics version of Isis. I thought it was lacking.
