Beholden | NaLu |
Lucy's breath hitched. "You saved mine, so I'll have to save yours. That's just how it works. So, naturally, I can't leave until that happens. I'm beholden to you." No way. This is so not true. It can't be! It's not supposed to be! A dragon prince beholden to a mere human? This never ends well. He gave her a sheepish smile, and Lucy couldn't help but wonder that he might actually be enjoying himself, despite what he might say. "..so if I put it in other words.." he began. "You're kinda stuck with me.." All rights for the characters and concept of Fairy Tail belong to Hiro Mashima. Story inspired from a prompt. The plot development is mine :). Will Natsu and lucy finally come to their senses about their feelings for each other? Will lucy even make it back from the world she has been transferred to? Read to find out! Tell Me That You Love Me
While they were on a mission, an unexpected turn of events happened. Lisanna returned from Edolas. Everyone started focusing their attention on their long lost friend instead of Lucy. She felt cold and lonely. Little did they know, Lisanna harboured evil intents. She loved Natsu and would do anything to get him, knowing Lucy is currently the person Natsu focuses his attention to, she wants to crush her. Crush her into bits. With loneliness filling up her heart, Sting was always there for her. What would happen to Natsu and Lucy's relationship? Will hate or love sprout first? A Fairy Tail FanFiction featuring mainly NaLu. And of course, there will be some StiCy moments as well! A/N : I know I know, it's cliche and mainstream. But hey! "So.." he began, shifting to look at her now instead. "Why'd you leave?" There it was, the question she had dreaded from the start. Lucy closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath. Her hand shifted just a little, pulling away from his warm one. 'Because..sometimes leaving is the only way to avoid hurting..and getting hurt.' "That, Natsu.." Lucy breathed, turning over to look at him too. 'And because I never wanted to hurt you.' "Is a story for another time." When we meet again
"Natsu, you make me happy. And I don't know how I could've gotten through this week without you. Even with me not being able to speak you didn't plead with me to get me to talk or force me to talk. It made me love you even more for that." I paused for a moment, feeling the lump in my throat form, signaling that I was going to cry again. I took a shaky breath and looked at him with pleading eyes. "I don't know how I'm going to get through how ever long it is until I see you again. Please convince your parents to come with me! Please Natsu!" After Lucy and Natsu had just confessed their love for each other. Lucy finds out that her parents pass away in a fatal car accident. A week later after being taken in by the Dragneel family, on Natsu's thirteenth birthday, Lucy's sister Michelle comes to take Lucy home with her to Paris to live with her and her husband. Lucy stays in Paris, only keeping in touch with one friend during her four years there. On her sixteenth birthday, Lucy finally moves back to Magnolia. With Natsu heavy on her mind, she gets a job and begins attending the same high school as Natsu. What happens when they get assigned to be partners on a school project after not speaking for four long years? And finding out she just happens to have gotten a job at the same place Natsu works? Will their love blossom as quickly as when they were twelve? Or will they never be meant to be with each other ever again.
