My Name is Dylan and I Hate Love

Lately, I have been using writing prompts to get better at writing, so I figured - why not start posting my completed writing? The prompt is as follows - Learn to write a story ending with a specific line. The line is "I guess I didn't need it as much as I thought I did."
Here is a story about a young adult living in New York who experienced damaged relationships as a teenager. He narrates how his life changes throughout the years and how his view of love changed.
