When I look into his eyes, I don't see perfection. I don't see a love story that would necessarily be something people would see on a big screen and dream about. I see someone who will protect me and fight for me and love me in spite of all the ways I am still a wreck. I see home. Wherever he is. That's my home.
For me, that quote is true. I am engaged to the most incredible man, Ben Simmons, a basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers. My life has always been so structured, hectic, and sophisticated. He is my breath of fresh air, my escape. We are beginning our journey together with a new lifestyle in a new state. I welcome you to come along.
