Maria has lived her whole life living like a child, well sort of. She gets dressed by her servants, fed by her servants, and is homeschooled. Like a normal child, she loves to explore, but now that she lives with her stern uncle and his under-welcoming manor, Maria has questioned everything. He's so strict that Maria is actually starting to believe that he isn't her real uncle. He is sneaking around a lot and keeps Maria in her room most of the time. She doesn't like this but can't confront anyone about it. Whenever she tries, her uncle finds out and locks her in her room for the rest of the day and the next. He doesn't like kids, not to mention sneaky ones. But Maria needs to find a way to confront her uncle without him in control of her....
