Treyarch holds the rights to many characters in this novel, including Edward Richtofen, Tank Dempsey, Takeo Masaki, Nikolai Belinski, Ludvig Maxis, Samantha Maxis, etc. The main character, Eliza Washington, however, is strictly the creation of Mac and she reserves the right to lease her to other fanfiction writers under special circumstances.

With all the crazy in the world, and with hope slowly dying, Castiel must rise up with her fellow task force members to defeat the world's greatest threat, Vladimir Makarov. Along the way, she befriends Gaz and Price, and slowly becomes part of the 141 family. Ghost, on the other hand, is not initially pleased with Castiel's arrival. No one can replace Soap, and he is almost offended that this smalltown, stubborn, American southern ex-pilot thinks she can ever try to replace him. However, perhaps there is more to her than meets the eye. Maybe she can finally teach Ghost to trust and care again and heal from past wounds.
