In an experimental failure, some conjoined scientists create a strange form of radiation deemed destructive for human beings, and in a hasty attempt of obscuring it from the layman and the rest of the world, one of the lead scientists, Lucy Fishman, agrees to hide the radioactive source in a safe compartment in her basement. So what happens when one day, after a distressing day at her high school, her seventeen year old daughter Anastasia decides to relive some childhood memories in their basement and accidentally discovers the source? --teenage supergirl inspired story-- Vienna has always toed the line, of danger and authority. As a teen superhero, she has to follow orders (such a pain) and save the world (pretty often). She has no memory of her former life, and for years she has been growing apart from her sister.
Her life changes was she makes the decision to reveal her powers to the world in order to be able to make a bigger difference. Her friends become her backup, and the four of them are put in constant danger as they try to fight evil in the world. Even though they are under government operation, they know that Vienna is in charge of herself, and no one can make her do anything.
As they finish their senior year, Vienna and her friends have to face their pasts and prepare for their futures, assuming the world doesn't end before graduation.
