Of Mine Enemy

Nothing is ever as it seems. Mundane humans walk about the world with hazy, unawareness. Keep the fields well-planted, find a suitable wife, further the bloodlines - step one, step two, repeat. The world is all in right - at least a human might see it that way.

Saiorse Addinell; the representative of 'vampire' kind has been betrayed. The speaker of her sharp-toothed species, Saiorse holds an iron fist over what she assumed was the well-controlled human-world. At least, until a group of men, disturbed by the discovery of the supernatural formed an elite hunting party called the Circle - and hunted Saiorse down. Under false promise, Saiorse agreed to meet the leader of the Circle, James LeRoy, to agree on a treaty.

Instead, they struck her with a lavender (a most deadly poison to vampires) laced arrow and left her for dead.

What James LeRoy, or the rest of the world, doesn't know, is that Saiorse didn't die - and she's out for blood.

In a tavern outside of a town called Havanah, Saiorse happens upon James' son, Alexander and with a sway of her words (and her hips), Saiorse locks him under her key. Under forced cooperation, Alexander agrees to lead Saiorse to his father. Saiorse is no fool; she knows Alexander will cause as much trouble as possible - but she couldn't possibly be prepared for what the young Lord has waiting for her right under his sleeve...
