Alex was a normal girl, normal school, normal life, normal friends. That is until a car accident changed her life at age twelve. That was when she thought she lost it all. Her mother's voice. Her father's cheers for her t-ball team. Her little brother's 'I love you's. Birds singing. Booming thunder. She felt all of it sliding out from under her feet, like a tablecloth at the hands of a magician under crystal glasses and fine china. Alex is an eighteen year old girl with a lovely family, an undying love for music, and the most loyal, amazing friends backing her that she could ask for. She has so much, yet feels so little. Dominick is a twenty one year old boy. A shy, quiet, book lover with a gorgeous personality and a love for lord of the rings (which happens to be so strong that he can recite most, if not all, of the movies forwards and backwards.) Having an introverted, college misfit lifestyle, Dominick has learned to dodge obstacles and to live life out as normally as possible, that is until he and Bec collide.

*Unedited* "What's so hard about just listening to what I have to say?" I plead. "I know that you would definitely be my forever but now it seems to be all just a lie," he yells, tears beginning to fall. I bite my lip to contain mine because I know once the floodgates open, I'm a goner. "So I just need time to think because," his voice cracks on the rest of his words "because this hurts and it hurts so damn much." ----------------------------------- Callie is just your average teen struggling with more problems than she knows. Forming new friendships and bonds through her junior year of high school she begins to see light friends bring. Her friendship with her longtime best friend Sam will be put to the test. Will it prosper into something more or will it fail and become one more problem for her to deal with. Will the obstacles of time, loyalty, and patience get in the way?
