After blasting the autobot's base to ashes after Optimus Prime destroyed the Omega Lock, their only way of ever returning home, Megatron gets some news delivered to him at Darkmount that Shockwave, the decepticon's most respected mad scientist picks up a strange signal in the Antarctic, predicting it to be an escape pod of decepticon origin. He takes a team of workers and is accompanied by Megatron, Starscream, and Knock Out in case of a new decepticon arrival. What they unearth is far better than an escape pod, but one of the original predacon clones from Megatron's original squadron, sent to Earth millions and millions of years ago to wipe out the autobot forces stationed here, and the only survivor of the Great Cataclysm, encased in ice for millions of years before they awoke her from stasis. She reveals her name to be Adeline, and works aboard Megatron's worship with Predaking. When on the battlefield fighting Autobots, she realizes that that's where she belongs, and starts to fall for the Autobot scout, Bumblebee. A terrified girl finds herself mixed up with three other children in a war that had somehow reached to them. Unlike the other children, she did not have a home to go back to. Scars like hers run too deep and she does not know what worth she could even give to the transformers who have now become her guardians to protect her from decepticons. Her near constant presence in their base seems to be a bother to the transformers, she can tell even if they do not say it out loud to her. The girl is not a fool. However, when they realize just how deep her pain truly was and how far she is willing to end it, Optimus is unwilling to give up on her. She does not understand his reasons, they slowly become clear. And when she finally runs in with Optimus's arch enemy, she finds herself eyeing off a certain decepticon leader in a way that she should not have. And she did not know why. Megatron himself feels he simply had taken something so precious from Prime, and enjoys watching the autobot panic in trying to find her. But, the girl began to confuse his spark. So much so he questions so much about himself.

For her to be able to survive, she shut her system down as she was still trapped there. Over thousands of years, new life began to flourish and right above her, the Omega Lock was built by Alpha Trion. **Second Book in Series** Several weeks from the incident that nearly lost his one and only daughter, Optimus Prime now carries within him the very sparkling who he once thought was lost a long time ago. A procedure that is meant to save her life, though he is learning to endure what many mechs and femmes go through while carrying. However, he has zero regrets. After all, his love for his daughter runs deep, and he will protect her at all costs. However, Megatron has not forgotten her either. Knowing now who she is related to, a part of him wants her among the decepticons because of her power. But also a part of him wants to get to know her. A decision he made years ago, believing he would never care for any of the new sparks he had created at the time, now has come to realize that he wants to know her. But that does not stop his war against the autobots. Which Optimus, unfortunately, would come to learn. But it is not just Megatron who seeks out this sparkling. Eyes linger on the autobot leader after his assistance with aiding a decepticon, and their keen interest in the sparkling leads to danger to both Optimus and his sparkling. To the point where her life literally hangs by a thread again. And, someone beneath the surface of the planet, plans vengeance against those who banished him. Including against a young dragon who is only related by energon.
