Things have been awfully rough for Sophia Rosen since her mother died when she was 16. When Hurricane Cora strikes Arkansas and destroys part of her college, Sophia moves back to California to live with her father, Garrick. Not too long after Sophia returns home, Garrick gets remarried to a woman named Sharon Patterson, and Sophia finds herself with a new stepmother. When Sophia transfers to Lucky Clover College, she happily reunites with her ex-boyfriend Hugo Hollister! Sophia and Hugo are happy to be back together and are even thinking about getting married.
