Seventeen year old Goldie Marion, a machinery expert from the Wild West, is on the verge of suicide.  Why?  It is the day before her wedding to a man she never met.  Her parents think of her as a disgrace, mainly because she refuses to do anything feminine.  She hates them, and they hate her, it's that simple!
Anyway, the night before she is to marry this man, as she is on a chair, tying a rope to a light fixture about to jump off the chair, a beautiful fairy comes to her bedroom.  She says the she will fix everything.
With that, Goldie is teleported to a new world that she's never heard of.  Gaelwhik.  Fairies, mages, and people all living together.  Goldie is finally happy and content.
That is, until she learns of the dark mage, Sidero's, intentions.  She wishes to kidnap her and take her power to rule the land.
What power does Goldie possess?  Will all end well?  Read to find out!
