Caleb Blake always believed in miracles and that things only ever happened for a reason but his life took a dramatic turn. Unfortunately at 16 Caleb was diagnosed with non-hodgkin lymphoma and was admitted to hospital for treatment due to the aggressive nature of his condition. This is where he meets Clara Dawson, who was diagnosed with the same form of cancer has him. Clara, however, has had the fight taken out of her and no longer believes she can survive. This is when Caleb decides even if it's the last thing he does, he will help Clara believe again and help her continue her fight. The two grow close but life seems to have other plans when one of them takes a turn for the worse and their condition rapidly declines. Will they believe in miracles enough to receive one?
