Imagine this: everything you knew and loved is gone. It's just you, wandering in a world full of only death, and you're completely at the mercy of yourself- your actions. The law is no longer a construct. There are no consequences to scare you out of doing whatever your deprived, starving mind wills. Life no longer has meaning, whether it is one that has been taken or the one that gets to grow as a result of that "sin". In this world- in this merciless, hellish, torturous world, just what would you do to survive?

[Nine Lives of Deity] an unpublished novel, rejected by many publishing companies I've been, I give up and also labeled it as the worst novel I wrote. I died before I could rewrite the novel and regretted it on my last breath. however, when I opened my eyes, I found myself inside a different body, with a new name, inside a new world There I discovered I was inside the 'worst novel' and met 'Zyren' who is the main character of the story. The world I am standing in right now showed me many things that I have never experienced in my life on earth. So, I, Sonata decided to rewrite the novel with my own life. making the worst to greatest story I have written. Would I succeed? or would I discover something more to this world. Who Knows.Concluida

"You trust me, don't you?" he says with a smile, that smile. It had fooled everyone, even me at some point, and for the first time I want to scream with rage and shake the earth to the core. "Give me a hug," he says pulling me out of the chair that feels like a rock underneath me. I am as stiff as a board as his hands circle me, making me feel worse than dirt. His hands reach between my thighs and I want to plunge a knife deep through his chest. The only thing stopping me is, the knife is no where near. I pull back and I don't try to hide the anger in my eyes. I want him to see it. To know that I am coming for him. Rape is chanted repeatedly in my mind, reminding of the lies I just told and the false accusations I am throwing on innocent people. In Shadows of Night
I woke to a sudden breeze invading the warmth from the heavy blanket that caressed my skin. Here, alone with my thoughts, the still, calm quiet in the atmosphere is almost painful. I feel suffocated in the clingy, static air. In quiet, still moments like these, I can almost feel Him. I don't know who "Him" is, but I can feel his presence. It's almost calming, especially on fearful, anxiety fueled nights. Usually, he was the strongest when I had a nightmare. The nightmares weren't as common now, but, right after everything happened, I was having them every night. I'd wake up and swear I was drenched in blood, my eyes and lips sticky, my nose filled with the smell of iron and fuel. After everything, that's when Him first came. From there, he just never left. I can usually sense when Him is near. Today, though, his presence is stronger. I can almost feel Him next to me, weighing down the mattress. Some nights, I roll over and imagine how he looks, envision his smile or the sparkle in his eyes. He's never there and I'm left clutching to the thought that he exists, staring into empty air. Tonight, though, I swear I can reach out and touch him. Extending my hand gently, I sweep my hand out into the darkness and meet an inexplicable warmth. A scream rips from my lungs as hands cover my face and two icy blue eyes stare back at me, daring me to speak again. A soft cloth caressed my nose and mouth before I felt myself fade into bed. Her Last Hope
Her POV: He was heartless, ruthless, cruel, calculating... there was not even one ounce of humanity in him-no trace of empathy or mercy, no place for love or kindness in his heart. He ruined me, humiliated me, crushed me... But he was powerful, strong, terrifying... no one dared to cross him or stand in his way. And so, I was left alone to bear the consequences of things I hadn't done. I promised I would avenge my dignity and my hard work, one way or another... But fate had other plans. He claimed that he loved me, but his actions revealed his true colors. And I- I never thought I was capable of hating someone so deeply, but I hated him with everything I had left in me. His POV: I was the king of the world-the most powerful man you'd ever meet. Cold and merciless, no one dared stand against me. Everyone sought my approval. The Day I Turned To Stone
They said it would only feel like a moment. Close my eyes, drift off, and wake beneath another sun. I believed them. We all did. The world was ending, and The Passage Program was our last chance to save what was left of it. Sleep through the ruin. Wake to a beginning. I don't remember falling asleep. Just the weight of the air, the pressure in my chest, the feeling that something inside me was... slipping. If I'm awake now, why can't I move? If I'm alive, why does everything feel so still? They said I'd wake to a new world. They never said what it would cost.
Almost Perfect~
Living with no change in a city where no one seemed to leave or stay. She wanted a little change but got a whole lot more. It's really Loving someone who doesn't love you back that hurts. Perhaps it isn't the fact that they don't love you, but the fact that you loved them so much it hurt and they had no idea you even existed. Its not until they notice you that the hurt goes away and everything becomes perfect. But nothing can be perfect, in Robert Frost's words, "So dawn goes down to day, Nothing gold can stay" This is my first fanfic and is short with a terrible ending. As I wake up, I can feel the cold, hard, rock ground below me. It feels as if it's sucking me in because I can't live in this world anymore. It's too much work and I feel useless. My life is useless. People risk their lives to save something they don't need. What's better? Two alive or twenty six dead because of the two people? Even if I go on with my life, I will always feel this pain within me. Knowing I killed so many people. It'll just kill me and I swear I'll go crazy. So either way, I lose. I won't win because mentally or physically, I will die. I see Danny's face in front of me. His hands are chained on the rock wall and he's sitting down in pain. His face is bloody, but he's awake. "Danny?" I whisper. "They're," he begins, whispering as low a I.
